When the SPLIT FILE screen is open, you can press
the Á PLAY key and find the point where you want
to split the file during playback.
When a file is split, new files are created with
"_a" and "_b" added to the end of the original
file name.
For example, if the file name before being split
was "091225_0000.wav", then the file names
after splitting are "091225_0000_a.wav" (part
before the split point) and "091225_0000_
b.wav" (part after the split point).
After being split, the "_a" file is selected.
CAUTION
• MP3 files cannot be split.
• If the open capacity on the microSD card is low,
splitting might not be possible.

200 characters, splitting is not possible.
• If a file already exists that has the same name as a
name that would result from splitting a file, split-

Erasing files

Follow these procedures to erase unnecessary files.
