MENU GRADE [Menu grade]: Selection of menu items to
be displayed
Determine whether to display basic items only or both
basic and enhanced items on the monitor screen and in
the time counter display when using the menu.

Auto Mode (AUTO FUNCTION) Execution Menu

The following table shows the purpose and function of the
items in the auto mode execution menu.
Menu contents
i.LINK DUBBING :HDV [i.LINK DUB]: Selection of data for
i.LINK dubbing
For dubbing through the i.LINK interface in HDV format,
select data that the dubbing applies to.
Note
Dubbing may not be properly operated if a source tape
contains the different system frequencies or the different
recording formats.
i.LINK DUBBING :DV/DVCAM [i.LINK DUB]: Selection of
data for i.LINK dubbing
For dubbing through the i.LINK interface in DV/DVCAM
format, select data that the dubbing applies to.
Note
Dubbing may not be properly operated if a source tape
contains the different system frequencies or the different
recording formats.
TC INSERT :DVCAM [TC insert]: Timecode rewriting
Rewrite the timecode from an initial value which can be
set freely.
Description of settingss
*BASIC [>> Basic]: Display basic items only.
ENHANCED [>> Enhanced]: Display both basic and
enhanced items.
For details of the use of individual items, see "Digitally
Dubbing Signals in HDV/DVCAM/DV Format" (page 65)
and "Rerecording the Timecode – TC Insert Function
(DVCAM Format Only)" (page 68).
Description of settings
A/V [> A/V]: Dub the audio and video.
A/V/TC [> A/V/TC]: Dub the audio, video, and timecode.
A/V/TC/CM [> A/V/TC/CM]: Dub the audio, video, timecode,
and cassette memory contents.
Note
When A/V is selected, the timecode recorded follows the
setting of the TIME CODE menu items (see page 77) in the
setup menu.

A/V/TC/CM [> A/V/TC/CM]: Dub the audio, video, timecode,
and cassette memory contents.
Note

setup menu.

Note
Rewriting is possible only when the recording format is
DVCAM.
