Position the ink ribbon cassette on the carriage, making sure that the rib-
bon runs under the printer head.

• Take care to avoid excessive slack in the ink ribbon.
• If slack forms, use the procedure in step 2 to wind it up.

Carefully press the ink ribbon cassette against the carriage until it snaps
securely into place.

Close the front cover.

Close the disc tray.
• Press the disc tray until it closes securely with a click.
• The printer will make noise when you press the

To replace the ink ribbon cassette

1.
Press the [ button to turn on the printer.
2.
Press the button on the top of the printer.
This causes the disc tray to open part way.
Important!
Make sure there is nothing in front of the printer to interfere with the
movement of the disc tray.

Carefully pull out the disc tray.
