    Connect the external unit with a 21-pin Scart cable to the Av2 connection of the DVD Recorder. Connect the DVD Recorder, the TV and the external unit to the power supply system. Switch on the external unit and the DVD Recorder.

    You can connect a DV-compatible camcorder to the DVD Recorder. The DV IN connection is available for this purpose. The DVD Recorder cannot be controlled via an external unit that is connected to the DV IN terminal. Before you connect the DV cable, make sure that all units are switched off.
