[Preparation]
Only if using Windows
Second Edition, start the supplied CD from
PC and install the USB driver.
• For further information, read the supplied
operating instructions for USB connection kit.

Connect the camera to PC via supplied
USB cable.
• After inserting the memory card into the
camera, set the operational mode dial to
playback [ ] and turn the power switch to
[ON].
[Windows]
The drive is shown on the [My computer]
folder.
• If it is the first time you are connecting the
camera to PC, the required driver is installed
automatically in order to let the camera be
recognized by the Windows Plug and Play,
then it is shown on the [My computer] folder.
[Macintosh]
The drive is shown on the screen.
• When connecting to a PC it is recommended that
you use the AC adaptor as the power source.
• When connecting the PC, the display of the LCD
monitor is set to off. In this case, the status
indicator lights. Moreover, when the PC
accesses the card, the flash indicator also lights.
