Modification to avoid E04 when warm
71210T057
This modification concerns only M5000s with serial no. between 280000 and 281720.
A combination of warm environment, low main voltage and electrically noise might cause the error
message E04.
To avoid this problem the following modification at the CPU PCB (M5000-x) is necessary.
1. Disconnect power
2. Remove the top cover and the bottom cover.
3. Remove the 3 cables to the CPU-PCB. The 3 cables are connected to J2, J3 and J4. See fig. 1.
4. Remove the CPU PCB by unscrewing 2 screws on the solder side of the PCB and by unscrewing the 2
jack nuts. See fig. 2.
