One-Touch Dialing
Speed Dial numbers 2 through 9 are special One-Touch dialing
numbers. You can call the phone numbers stored in your phone's
Contacts list and assigned Speed Dial numbers 2 through 9 by
pressing and holding a single key.
Example: For Speed Dial number 3, press and hold
number appear in the display and the number is dialed.
Two-Touch Dialing
Memory locations 10 through 99 are special Two-Touch dialing
locations.
Example: For location number 13, briefly press
until the name and number appear in the display and the
number is dialed.
Three-Touch Dialing
Memory locations 100 through 999 are special Three-Touch
dialing locations.
Example: For location number 113, briefly press
again, then press and hold
in the display and the number is dialed.
until the name and
, then press and hold
, briefly press
until the name and number appear
Pause Dialing From a Contacts Entry
If you speed dial a contact that contains (two-second) P pause(s)

simply wait for the pauses to pass and the dialing to complete.
If you speed dial a contact that contains (hard) W pause(s), wait for the

appropriate prompt(s) from the number you are calling (credit card
number, bank account number, and so on) and enter the appropriate
response(s).
Making a Call — Quick Search Dialing
Use the Quick Search feature to dial
any number stored in your Contacts
list by pressing the number keys that
correspond to the first few letters of
a Contact name. (For more
information, refer to "Quick Search"
on page 115.)
Quick Search Dialing a Contact
To find and dial a Contact, do the
