    Initialization The printer can be initialized (returned to a fixed set of conditions) in these ways: Hardware The printer is turned on. initialization The printer receives an INIT signal from the parallel interface: pin 31 goes LOW. Software Software sends the ESC @ (initialize the initialization printer) command.

    Composite black is a mixture of the inks in the color ink cartridge and closely resembles black ink. When you first set up the printer, you need to charge its ink delivery system by installing first the color ink cartridge and then replacing it with the black print head unit and cartridge.
