Removing a Pentium III Processor
Follow these steps to remove the Pentium III processor module from the slot.
1.
Remove the fan and temperature connections. See Table 1-2.
CPU temperature connector – CN2
CPU fan connector – CN3
2.
Unlock the latches that secure the processor module.

3.
Firmly hold the processor module and pull it out of the socket.
