Storing the adjusted
settings

— USER PRESET

You can store the adjusted sound field settings,
etc. as user presets. You can store up to 3 user
presets and easily apply then.
Setting the USER PRESET

Adjust the sound field, etc.
For the settings you can store, see “Settings
that can be stored in USER PRESET”.

Rotate MAIN MENU to select
“CUSTOMIZE”.

Rotate MENU to select “USER PRESET
MEM.?”.

Rotate –/+ to select the USER PRESET
number.

Press MEMORY/ENTER.

To store other settings, repeat steps 1
to 5.
Settings that can be stored in
USER PRESET
• Input selected by the INPUT SELECTOR
• INPUT MODE setting
• Selected sound field
• MULTI CH IN setting
• DIRECT setting
• NIGHT MODE setting
• C.WIDTH setting
• DIMENSION setting
• PANORAMA MODE setting
• EFFECT LEVEL setting
• FRONT REVERB setting
• SCREEN DEPTH setting
• VIR.SPEAKERS setting
• Tuner settings (band, frequency, stereo/mono
setting, preset number)

To use the USER PRESET
1
Press USER PRESET repeatedly to
select the USER PRESET you want.

Press MEMORY/ENTER.
Note
If the DIGITAL ASSIGN setting is changed after you
store a USER PRESET and if the stored INPUT
MODE setting cannot be used, a selectable setting is
applied automatically.
Example:
1) Use the DIGITAL ASSIGN function to assign
“DVD OPT” to “TAPE”.
2) Set the INPUT MODE of TAPE to “AUTO 2CH” or
“OPTICAL FIXED”, then store this setting in a
USER PRESET.
3) Use the DIGITAL ASSIGN function to assign
“DVD OPT” to “DVD”.
4) Select the USER PRESET stored in example 2.
The INPUT MODE of TAPE is automatically set to
“ANALOG 2CH FIXED”. You cannot select
“AUTO 2CH” or “OPTICAL FIXED”.
