To load paper into the bypass tray

Paper can be fed manually through the bypass tray if you wish to copy onto
paper that is not loaded into, or cannot be fed from, a paper tray, paper feed
cabinet or large capacity unit, such as thick paper, envelopes, overhead pro-
jector transparencies or label sheets.
0 Use the Paper screen to specify the size of the paper that is not detect-
able automatically (for example, paper in A3 or A4 size, or custom size
paper), or the special type of paper such as thick paper or overhead pro-
jector transparencies. For details, refer to page 3-20.
0 Some types of special paper requires to be positioned in a certain orien-
taion. For details, refer to pages 2-57 to 2-60.
