Changing the Flash Timing

You can change the timing for the flash and shutter.
What are the 1st-curtain and 2nd-curtain?
With the 1st-curtain, the flash fires
right after the shutter opens.

Choose [Flash Control] (p. 97).
Make the setting.
Press the op buttons or turn the  dial

to choose [Shutter Sync.] and press the
qr buttons to choose [1st-curtain] or
[2nd-curtain].
With 2nd-curtain, the flash fires
right before the shutter closes.
