THERMOSTAT • The thermostat automatically settles the temperature inside the appliance. Turn the knob from setting ‘0’ to setting ‘5’ to obtain increasingly colder temperatures.

ARRANGING FOOD IN YOUR FRIDGE • To reduce humidity and the consequent increase of frost, NEVER place liquids in unsealed containers in the refrigerator. Frost tends to concentrate in the coldest parts of the evaporator. In time, the unit will need more frequent defrosting if too much humidity develops inside it. -

DEFROSTING YOUR REFRIGERATOR WILL NOT REQUIRE DEFROSTING AS DEFROSTING OCCURS AUTOMAIALLY. HOWEVER, YOU WILL HAVE TO DEFROST THE ICE BOX (FREEZER COMPARTMENT) WHEN THE FROST IS 3-5 MM THICK OTHERWISE YOUR APPLIANCE WILL NOT WORK EFFICIENTLY. TO DEFROST YOUR ICE BOX, REMOVE ALL THE FOOD FROM WITHIN AND WRAP IN NEWSPAPER, BEARING IN MIND THAT THE INEVITABLE RISE IN TEMPERATURE WILL MEAN THAT THEY WILL HAVE TO BE EATEN SHORTLY THEREAFTER. -

CLEANING / MAINTENANCE NOTE: Before attempting to clean your Fridge-Freezer, UNPLUG IT and make sure you do the following: Remove the baskets and the ice-cube tray. Leave the door open. In order to collect water deposits, take out the bottom drawer and soak up the water using a sponge. - Page 14 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS –RETRO FRIDGE: Allow for adequate space and install your fridge on a firm, level floor. This is very important as the appliance must be level so that there will be no unnatural noises or poor cooling. Ensure that you are going to be placing your fridge- freezer away from heat sources and in a well-ventilated position.
