Load the baskets Be careful when washing items made of certain materials (see page 9). Upper basket Load glasses, cups, bowls, small plates, saucers, long items of cutlery and carving knives into the upper basket. (Take care that sharp edges do not damage the plastic of the baskets.) Re-programmings Protected start programme You can also prevent children starting the machine by playing with the pushbuttons by programming the machine so that it will start only if the Start push-button is pressed and held for three seconds. 1.
