    Control panel functions SCX-4300 Displays the current status and prompts during an operation. Status- Shows the status of your machine. See page 9.3.     To access a printer driver help screen, click Help from the printer properties dialog box. If you have Internet access, you can get help, support, printer drivers, manuals, and order information from the Samsung website, www.samsungprinter.com.

    Selecting a location Select a level, stable place with adequate space for air circulation. Allow extra space for opening covers and trays. The area should be well-ventilated and away from direct sunlight or sources of heat, cold, and humidity. Do not set the machine close to the edge of your desk or table.

    Paper Type Guidelines Preprinted paper • Letterhead must be printed with heat-resistant ink that will not melt, vaporize, or release hazardous emissions when subjected to the machine’s fusing temperature of 208° C (406.4° F) for 0.1 second. • Letterhead ink must be non-flammable and should not adversely affect printer rollers.

    Adjust the manual feeder guides to the width of the print material without bending it. After loading paper, you need to set the paper type and size for the manual feeder. Tabs on the sides of the toner cartridge and corresponding grooves within the machine will guide the toner cartridge into the correct position until it locks into place completely.
