Maintenance

WARNING
• Always be sure to stop the engine before inspecting the trimmer for problems or
performing maintenance.
• Never alter the trimmer or take the engine apart.
• When replacing parts, always be sure to use only ZENOAH products or products which
have been certified by ZENOAH for use with the RedMax trimmer.
• Things to check before using trimmer
■ Be sure to check the following before using your trimmer.

■ Regular maintenance inspection

Remove grit from cylinder fins
Clean air filter element
Clean and adjust spark plugs
Clean fuel tank

Remove grit from clutch drums

• See if attachment is loose
• Gaps between blades
• Check if edges of blades are dull
