    Using the Minute You can use your microwave oven as a kitchen timer. Use the Minute Timer for timing up to 99 minutes, 99 seconds. 1. Touch PAUSE/TIMER. Touch Number Pads for the minutes and seconds you want. The Display will show in the order the numbers you touched you touched them.

    Cooking at lower For best results, some recipes call for lower Cook Powers. The lower the Cook Power, the slower the cooking. Each Number Pad also stands for a different percentage of Cook Power. Many microwave cookbook recipes tell you by number, percent or name which Cook Power to use.

    Cooking with the Temperature The Temperature Probe helps take the guesswork out of cooking roasts casseroles. The probe is designed to turn off the oven when it senses the temperature you chose between 90°F and 200°F. See your Microwave Cookbook for helpful information on cooking different types of food.
