  • Page 10 Using the detergent What type of detergent to use Use automatic dishwasher detergent onfy. Other detergents are too mild and much too sudsy to work in the dishwasher. Follow manufacturer’s directions when using liquid automatic dishwasher deter- gent or concentrated powder detergent.

  • Page 12 On some models: The center of the Fill Indicator Cap will be clear when dispenser needs refilling. On soms models: Press the flexible clear top of the Fill Indicator Cap to draw rinse agent into cap. NOTE: You may need to press cap two or three times to remove all of the air bubbles from the cap.
  • Page 13 Water temperature Hot water dissolves and activates the dishwashing detergent. Hot water also dissolves grease on dishes and helps dry glasses spot-free. The dishwasher automatically heat water to 135°F (57°C) during the final rinse. Use the Hi-Temp Wash option if you keep your water heater at a bw setting.
