2-cycle air-cooled engine oil designed to be mixed at a ratio of 40:1. Poulan/WEED EATER brand synthetic oil is recommended. Mix gaso- line and oil at a ratio of 40:1. WORN PARTS Contact an authorized service dealer for re- placement of damaged or worn parts. S Throttle Lever - - Ensure throttle lever func- tions properly by moving the throttle lever to the STOP position. Make sure engine stops; then restart engine and continue. S Fuel Tank - - Discontinue use of unit if fuel tank shows signs of damage or leaks. - Page 8 S Remove spark plug and pour 1 teaspoon of 40:1, 2-cycle engine oil (air cooled) through the spark plug opening. Slowly pull the starter rope 8 to 10 times to distribute oil. S Replace spark plug with new one of recom- mended type and heat range.
