INDICATIONS
The D-ring wrist braces support the wrist; the D-ring wrist
and thumb spica splints support the wrist and thumb.
• For support and protection to allow healing after injury
• For helping relieve pain caused by arthritis
• For helping decrease pain and prevent further injury
caused by repetitive activity
CONTRAINDICATIONS
• Not for treatment of severe sprains
• Not for immediate treatment following fractures
• Not for use directly over open wounds and infected
areas

• Not for use when IP immobilization is required
PRECAUTIONS
• If unusual swelling, skin discoloration or discomfort
occurs, discontinue use. If pain or discomfort per-
sists, consult a healthcare professional.
• Be careful that the straps are not so tight that they
interfere with circulation.

CARE AND CLEANING
Rolyan D-Ring Wrist Brace, Rolyan D-Ring Wrist and
Thumb Spica Splint
Remove stay and fasten straps. Hand wash fabric in
warm water and mild soap. (The Rolyan D-Ring Wrist
Brace and Rolyan D-Ring Wrist and Thumb Spica
Splint can also be machine washed.) Do not wring. Dry
at room temperature. Be sure the splint/brace is com-
pletely dry before reapplying it.

Surface clean the outside of the leather splint/brace us-
ing saddle soap. Do not immerse in water.
APPLICATION
• Be sure the hem portion of the pocket is over the end of
the stay.
• Do not insert the hand between the layers of stockinette.
Apply the wrist brace as shown in A; apply the wrist and
thumb spica splint as shown in B.
• The stay can be adjusted for proper fit.

VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN
• In geval van ongebruikelijke zwelling, verkleuring
van de huid of indien ongemak optreedt, dient het
gebruik gestaakt te worden. Indien pijn of ongemak
aanhoudt, dient een arts geraadpleegd te worden.
• Zorg dat de banden niet zo strak zitten dat zij de
bloedsomloop belemmeren.
VERZORGING EN REINIGING
Rolyan polsspalk met D-ringen, Rolyan spica-splint
voor pols en duim met D-ringen
Verwijder de balein en maak de klittenbanden vast. Was
de stof met de hand in warm water en zachte zeep. (De
Rolyan polsspalk met D-ringen en de Rolyan spica-
splint voor pols en duim met D-ringen kunnen ook in de
wasmachine worden gewassen.) Niet uitwringen. Op
kamertemperatuur laten drogen. Zorg dat de splint of
spalk volledig droog is voordat u deze weer aanbrengt.

PRÉCAUTIONS
• En cas d'oedème, de décoloration cutanée ou
d'inconfort, le patient doit cesser de porter l'attelle et
consulter un professionnel de la santé.
• On évitera de gêner la circulation en serrant trop les
sangles.
ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE
Attelle de poignet D-Ring Rolyan, attelle spica de poig-
net et de pouce D-Ring Rolyan
Retirer le tuteur et attacher les sangles. Laver le tissu à
la main avec de l'eau tiède et du savon doux. (L'attelle
de poignet D-Ring Rolyan et l'attelle spica de poignet et
de pouce D-Ring Rolyan se lavent aussi à la machine.)
Ne pas essorer. Laisser sécher à la température ambi-
ante. S'assurer que l'attelle est bien sèche avant de la
remettre en place.

Maak de buitenkant van de leren splint/spalk schoon
met zeep. Niet in water onderdompelen.
AANBRENGEN
• Zorg dat de overslag over het uiteinde van de balein ligt.
• Steek de hand niet tussen de lagen elastische stof.
• Breng de polsspalk aan zoals afgebeeld in A; breng de
spica-splint voor pols en duim aan zoals afgebeeld in B.
• De baleinen kunnen worden bijgesteld voor de juiste
pasvorm.

Nettoyer la surface extérieure de l'attelle en cuir avec un
savon adapté au traitement de cuir. Ne pas la plonger
dans l'eau.
MISE EN PLACE
• Vérifier que le rebord du fourreau recouvre l'extrémité du
tuteur.
• Ne pas glisser la main entre les couches de jersey ortho-
pédique.
• Appliquer les attelles de poignet tel qu'il est illustré en A.
Appliquer les spicas de poignet et de pouce suivant l'ill
ustration B.
• Le renfort peut être ajusté comme il convient.
