You will find the machine to be an invaluable tool in caring for your property. Please carefully read this Manual which tells you how to safely and easily assemble, operate and maintain your machine.

    SPARK ARRESTER WARNING TO RESIDENTS OF CALIFORNIA AND SEVERAL OTHER STATES Under California law, and under the laws of several other states, you are not permitted to operate an internal combustion engine using hydrocarbon fuels on any forest, brush, hay, grain, or grass covered land; or land covered by any flammable agricultural crop without an engine spark arrester in continuous effective working order.

    Section 4: Operation USE THE CORRECT DIAMETER TRIMMER LINE Before starting a project, look at the grass or material you will be cutting. For tougher conditions, use two (or four) sections of the thicker gauge, .155" diame- ter extra-heavy duty line. For less demanding conditions, use two sections of the thinner gauge, .130"...

    OPERATING TIPS & TECHNIQUES Tips for Precision Cutting For the most precise cutting possible, be sure to select the appropriate line cutting height and trimmer line size (thickness) for the conditions at hand. When mowing, let the cutting head rest lightly on the ground, without lifting up or pushing down on the handlebars.
