    Charging the Battery Plug the small end of the Mini USB to USB A-Type cable into the Mini USB connector on the MP840 and plug the large end of the cable into an available USB port on your desktop, or notebook computer. The MP840’s internal Li-ion battery will begin charging.

    Repeat Mode There are several REPEAT Modes to choose from: Normal, Repeat One, Repeat All, Shuffle and Normal/Repeat/Shuffle all the files in a Folder. 1. In the SETTINGS Menu, push the “Menu Switch” down (Next) select the Repeat item, then press the “Menu Switch” inwards (MENU) Mode.

Record Quality The quality of an audio recording can be set to Low (8,000Hz), Middle (16,000Hz), or High (32,000Hz), but the higher you set the Record Quality the greater the memory space required to save the resulting WAV file.

    Transcend Multimedia Converter If you want to play Videos on your MP840 you must convert your Video files to the ‘.mtv’ file format using the Transcend Multimedia Converter before transferring the Video files to the player.     If you want to use the Slideshow feature on your MP840 you must first, convert your Photo files to the ‘.sls’ file format using the Slideshow Maker, then transfer the Slideshow files to the player. The MP840 will only display a Slideshow of your Photos if they are converted to the “.sls” file format.
