10 Select the desired mist output by turning the on/off knob clockwise
or anticlockwise.
11 Let the humidifier operate until the room has the required humidity
level (between 40 and 60%).
The humidity indicator on the hygrometer/thermometer handset
,
shows the humidity level.
1 Place the hygrometer/thermometer handset close to baby. Place the
humidifier at a certain distance from the hygrometer/thermometer
handset.
1 Turn the on/off knob anticlockwise until you hear a click to switch
off the humidifier.
The power-on light goes out.

1 Remove the mains plug from the wall socket.
15 Empty the water tank and base and wipe them clean with a cloth
and soft sponge if you are not going to use the humidifier for two or
more days. Leave the water tank open to dry completely.
This prevents algae and bacteria growth.
Note: Always unplug the appliance before you refill the water tank.
Run-time scale
The run-time scale on the water tank shows the approximate minimum
run time in hours of the humidifier until the next refill. The scale only gives
an indication. Check the run-time scale before you switch on the appliance.
Note: The approximate minimum run time is based on use of the appliance at
mist output level 3 in a room with a humidity level below 40% and a
temperature of 40°C.
automatic mist stop
The safety switch automatically switches off the steam generator to
,
stop the mist output when the water level is too low.
The tip-over switch automatically switches off the steam
,
generator to stop the mist output when the humidifier is tilted.
Note: The automatic mist stop protects the steam generator from overheating.
In both cases, the humidifier is still on and the fan continues to operate.
Cleaning
Do not use cleaning or scouring agents.
Do not immerse the base, mains cord or mains plug in water or any
other liquid.
Do not use any metal or hard objects to clean the steam generator.
1 Disconnect the humidifier from the mains and set the on/off knob to
'off'.
 Clean the water tank and the tank cover in hot water with some
washing-up liquid or in the dishwasher.
