    OW TO he TUNER MODE feature allows you to change the TV’s signal input to CABLE, ANTENNA, or AUTO mode. It’s important for the TV to know if you want to receive chan- nels from a cable TV signal or a normal antenna signal.

    OW TO he Digital Options (Eye Fidelity) control gives you a choice between two different picture scanning modes: Progressive Scan and Interlaced (1050i). Digital Options are only available in 4:3 and Widescreen Picture Format. Progressive Scan doubles the number of pic- ture lines, eliminating line flicker and provid- ing a jitter-free picture.

With the AVL (Audio Volume Leveler) control turned ON, you can have the TV level out sound that is being heard. When programmed by the viewer, a TV with AutoLock™ can respond to the content advisories and block program content that may be found objection- able (such as offensive language, violence, sexual situations, etc.).

    ETTING utoLock allows parents to block out or “censor” any channels they think chil- dren should not watch. A channel blocked by the AutoLock control cannot be viewed until a correct access code is used to unlock the channel for viewing. First, let’s set your AutoLock access code.
