Remove and re-insert the EDA into the cradle, ensuring it is firmly
seated.

Ensure cradle is receiving power. Ensure EDA is seated correctly.
Confirm main battery is charging under Start - Settings - System -
Power. The standard capacity battery (1900 mAh) fully charges in less
than four hours. The extended capacity battery (3800 mAh) fully
charges in less than eight hours.
Verify that other batteries charge properly. If so, replace the faulty
battery.
Remove and re-insert the EDA into the cradle, ensuring it is firmly
seated.
Move the cradle to an area where the ambient temperature is between
o o
0 C and 35 C.
Remove and re-insert the spare battery in the cradle, ensuring it is
firmly seated.
Re-insert the battery so the charging contacts on the battery align with
the contacts on the cradle.
Verify that other batteries charge properly. If so, replace the faulty
battery.
Move the cradle to an area where the ambient temperature is between
o o
0 C and 35 C.
Replace EDA in cradle and retransmit.
