To disconnect from a computer-to-computer (ad-hoc) network

Click Start and then Control Panel.

Click Network and Internet Connections.

Click Network Connections.
The Network Connections window appears.

In the right panel under LAN or High-Speed Internet, right-click Wireless Network Connection.

Click Properties.
The Wireless Network Connection Properties window appears.

On the Wireless Networks tab, click Advanced.
The Advanced window appears.

Click to select Any available network (access point preferred), and click Close.

Click OK.

Close the Network Connections window.
10 Turn off the WIRELESS or WIRELESS LAN switch.
