Tips
• When either of the detailed displays are selected,
the disc, track, and album titles are displayed as
follows:
– The disc or album title appears whenever the unit
is stopped.
– The title of the current track appears when a track
is playing.
To label a disc and its tracks, see “Labeling Tracks/
Discs” on page 32.
• You can scroll disc or track titles that do not fit
entirely into the display. Z
Press SCROLL on the remote to see the rest of the
title. Press SCROLL again to pause scrolling, and
again to continue scrolling.
• When you put a CD containing a CD text in the disc
tray, “CD TEXT” lights up in the display.
Note
For MP3 files, some characters cannot be displayed.
These characters are displayed as a space or the
system’s original character.

Tip
The disc title and total number of albums are
displayed just after the unit reads TOC information of
MP3 files.
Notes
• The total playing time is not displayed for MP3
files.
• The ID3 tag is not displayed for MP3 files.
• Maximum total number of MP3 files and folders is
300, and maximum number of folders is 150
(including root folders and empty folders). If the
maximum number of folders or MP3 files is
exceeded, the additional folders/MP3 files are not
recognized.
