    Your oven is rated 1200 watts (R-410H) or 1100 watts (R-408H and R-405H) by using the IEC Test Procedure. In using recipes or package directions, check food a minute or two before the minimum time and add time accordingly.

    A micro- wave-safe thermometer will assist you in determining correct doneness and assure you that foods have been cooked to safe temperatures. Sharp is not responsible for any damage to the oven when acces- sories are used.

    NEVER leave the thermometer in the food during cooking, unless it is approved for microwave oven use. • Rearrange foods such as meatballs halfway through cooking both from top to bottom and from the center of the dish to the outside.

    ERROR Touch the STOP/CLEAR pad and re-enter the time. • If the electrical power supply to your microwave oven should be interrupted, the display will intermittently show after the power is reinstated. If this 8 8 : 8 8 occurs during cooking, the program will be erased.

    M A N U A L O P E R A T I O N TO SET POWER LEVEL There are eleven preset power levels. Using lower power levels increases the cooking time which is recommended for foods such as cheese, milk and long slow cooking of meats.

    S P E C I A L F E A T U R E S POPCORN The POPCORN setting automatically provides the correct cooking time for most brands of microwave popcorn. You may wish to try several and choose your favorite.

    O T H E R C O N V E N I E N T F E A T U R E S CHILD LOCK The Child Lock prevents unwanted oven operation such as by small children. The oven can be set so that the control panel is deactivated or locked.

    C L E A N I N G A N D C A R E Disconnect the power cord before cleaning or leave the door open to inactivate the oven during cleaning. Exterior-painted Clean the outside painted surfaces with mild soap and water. Rinse and polish dry with a soft cloth.
