    Safety Warnings  Read and understand these warnings to prevent injuries to yourself and bystanders. Refer to tool use, maintenance and troubleshooting sections for additional information.  To prevent eye injuries, always wear OSHA required “Z87" safety glasses with permanently attached rigid, hard plastic side shields.
  • Page 4 Safety Warnings  Use this tool for hardwood flooring installation over sub-floor only. Never use it to install flooring directly over concrete.  Never drive cleats unless the tool is firmly in its working position. Driving cleats when the safety element is not fully depressed will cause premature wear or damage to the safety element.

  • Page 6 Safety Warnings  Use only clean, dry, regulated compressed air at recommended pressure.  Tool shall not be connected to air pressure which potentially exceeds 200 psig or 13.7 bar.  Air compressors used to supply compressed air to this tool must comply with requirement ANSI/ASME B 19.1- 1995 (U.S.), "Safety Standard For Air Compressed Systems".

    Tool Use  Read section titled “Safety Warnings” before using tool.  The compressor start-stop limits should be set at 130/145 psig (9/10 bar). It is important that the compressor be able to deliver a pressure of at least 130 psig (9 bar) at all time in order to maintain a constant pressure in the range of 90- 110 psig (6.2 to 7.6 bar).
  • Page 9  To load: With the tool sitting upright on the sub- floor, insert strip of cleats into rear of magazine. Use only genuine SENCO cleats.  Pull back fully the feeder clip and slowly release it to engage behind the cleats.
  • Page 10 Tool Use  Always use the of the RUBBER FACE hammer. Using the steel face will damage the tool.  Should a cleat jam occur, disconnect air supply.  Release the feeder clip and remove cleats from the tool.  To clear the jam: 1) Remove the plastic base.

    Troubleshooting  Wipe tool clean daily and inspect for wear. Use non-flammable cleaning solution only if necessary - DO NOT SOAK Caution: Such solutions may damage O-rings and other tool parts.  When reassembling the head assembly, tighten the 6 screws in a fashion that keeps the head assembly parallel to the body.

    Troubleshooting SYMPTOM SÍNTOMA SYMPTÔME First: check the compressed air supply. Primero revise el abastecimiento de aire comprimido. Vérifier d’abord l’alimentation en air comprimé.
