    Use the CHANNEL keys VOLUME With the introduction of “V-Chip” technology, it is now possible for Sanyo to navigate through televisions to interpret MPAA and TV Parental Guidelines rating codes. When the menus and to these codes are detected, the TV will automatically display or block the program, make selections from depending upon choices you make when setting up the V-Guide system.

    CLOSED-CAPTIONING QuickTips Captioning is textual information transmitted along with the picture and sound so it can be displayed on the TV screen. Because different types of captions can be transmitted with If Caption Text mode the TV signal, separate captioning modes are provided. The captioning modes recognized is selected and no by this model are: Caption1, Caption2, Text1, and Text2.

    SETTING THE SLEEP TIMER The Sleep Timer will switch off the TV automatically. 1. Press the SLEEP key. 2. Use the 0 key to select the desired time (from 30 minutes up to 3 hours). Note: The Sleep Timer cancels when the TV is turned off or if a power failure occurs.
