Setting the Text Entry Options

1. Select
> Settings > Others > Text Entry.
2. Select an option and press
Auto-Capital to set the auto-capital on or off.
My Words to add a word to or edit a word in the T9
database (see page 26).
Input Language to select the language (English or French).
Default Input to select T9 word, Alphabet, or Retain Mode for
the initial entry mode. Set Retain Mode to retain the
previous entry mode (see page 28).
Auto-Space to set the auto-space on or off after T9 words
you enter.
T9 Settings to customize the T9 settings (see page 27).
Add Word to store words that you use frequently
(see page 26).
Auto-Complete to automatically display words that may
follow the current text input.

Setting Any Key Answer

This feature allows you to answer incoming calls by pressing any
key (except

> Settings > Others > Any Key Answer.
2. Select On or Off.

Auto Answer Mode

This feature sets the phone to automatically pick up incoming
calls in speakerphone mode or hands-free mode (when
connected).

> Settings > Others > Auto Answer.
2. Select Hands-free or Speakerphone.
3. Select 5 Seconds, 10 Seconds, or Off.
