CLEANING YOUR MACHINE To maintain print quality, follow the cleaning procedures below each time the toner cartridge is replaced or if print quality problems occur.

    MAINTAINING THE CARTRIDGE Toner cartridge storage To get the most from the toner cartridge, keep the following guidelines in mind: • Do not remove the toner cartridge from its package until ready for use. • Do not refill the toner cartridge. The machine warranty does not cover damage caused by using a refilled cartridge.

    All applications should be closed on your PC before beginning installation. A local printer is a printer directly attached to your computer using the printer cable supplied with your printer, such as a USB or parallel cable. You can install the printer software using the typical or custom method.
