    • Letterhead must be printed with heat-resistant ink that will not melt, vaporize, or release hazardous emissions when subjected to the printer’s fusing temperature for 0.1 second. Check your machine’s specification to view the fusing temperature, see page 10.1. • Letterhead ink must be non-flammable and should not adversely affect printer rollers.

    Verifying the output location The machine has the output tray that collects paper face-down, in correct order. Note • If you continuously print many pages, the surface of the output tray may become hot. Be careful not to touch the surface, and especially keep children away from the surface.

    Squeeze the paper length guide and slide in it until it lightly touches the end of the paper stack. Close the paper cover. Slide the tray back into the machine until it clicks. Note After you load paper, you need to set up your machine for the paper type, size, and source you loaded.

    Printing on labels • Only use labels recommended for your machine. • Verify that the labels’ adhesive material can tolerate a fusing temperature of 180 °C (356 °F) for 0.1 seconds. • Make sure that there is no exposed adhesive material between the labels.

    Printing on preprinted paper • Preprinted paper is paper that has some type of printing on it before it is sent through the machine (paper that has a preprinted logo at the top of the page, for example). • Letterhead must be printed with heat-resistant ink that will not melt, vaporize, or release hazardous emissions when subjected to the machine’s fusing temperature of 180 °C (356 °F) for 0.1 seconds.

    Click the Start button on the computer screen. Select Printers and Other Hardwares. Select Printers and Faxes. Right-click on the printer driver icon and select Printing Preferences. Click the Paper tab, and change the settings on Paper Options. Click OK.

    Grasp the toner cartridge and align it with the corresponding slot inside the machine. Insert it back into its slot until it clicks into place, and rotate the toner cartridge clockwise. Note If toner gets on your clothing, wipe it off with a dry cloth and wash it in cold water.
