    You can power your CD player from two AA batteries. For the best results, we recommend alkaline batteries, such as Radio Shack Cat. No. 23-552/ 557. Or, you can use rechargeable nickel-cadmium batteries, such as Cat. No. 23-125, and charge them in the CD player with the supplied battery adapter.
