Getting started Chapter 1 Getting started Home theater sound setup Depending on the size and characteristics of your room, you can place your speakers in one of two ways using this system: • Standard surround 5-spot setup – This is a standard multichannel surround sound speaker setup for optimal 5.1 channel home theater sound.
Getting started Using the on-screen displays For ease of use, this system makes extensive use of graphical on-screen displays (OSDs). All the screens are navigated in basically the same way, using the cursor buttons ( , ) to change the highlighted item and pressing ENTER to select it.
