    SYSTEM OPERATIONS: WARNINGS: As with any product that performs automatic functions, there are certain safety precautions that you must practice and be aware of. 1. Keep the transmitter out of children’s reach. 2. Do not leave anyone in the vehicle while running on remote control. 3.
  • Page 3 CHANGING THE BATTERY IN YOUR TRANSMITTERS XT-33: This transmitter uses two (2) 3-volt lithium ion batteries (#CR2016) that are sandwiched together with the (+) side facing upward. To replace the battery, you will need to use a small flat blade screwdriver. Locate the small notch on the lower right side of the transmitter case next to the key ring.

    DEFECTIVE SENSOR REMINDER: If the siren sounds 3 chirps when arming, then you have left a door, trunk or hood lid ajar. SHOCK SENSOR / OPTIONAL SENSOR BY-PASS: Press the button once: The siren chirps once, the system is armed. Press the button a second time within 5 seconds: The siren chirps twice, the Shock Sensor is now bypassed.
  • Page 5 PATHWAY ILLUMINATION This feature turns the parking light “ON” for 30 seconds upon the unlock signal and for 10 seconds upon the lock signal. (Programmable) TWO STEPS DOOR UNLOCK: This feature will independently unlock the driver door only when deactivating the system. Pushing the button a second time within 3 seconds will unlock the entire vehicle.

    DEACTIVATING WITHOUT A TRANSMITTER The Override function may be used if the remote transmitter is lost or inoperative. 1. Enter the vehicle and turn the ignition switch to ‘ON’ position. 2. Within 10 seconds push and release the valet switch when the in-dash LED stays on solid.
