    Always follow the instructions in this chapter in sequence. If you contact Philips, you will be asked for the model and serial number of this apparatus. The model number and serial number are on the bottom of the apparatus.

    Use your CD Soundmachine Play a CD Note • You cannot play CDs encoded with copyright protection technologies. You can play commercially available audio CDs: • CD-Recordables (CD-R) • CD-Rewritables (CD-RW) • MP3-CDs • WMA-CDs Switch the source selector to CD/USB. Press and open the lid of the CD compartment.

    To return to normal play, press MODE repeatedly until play mode icons are no longer displayed. • Shuffle play cannot be selected when you play programmed tracks. Program play sequence You can program up to 20 tracks in the desired sequence. In stop mode, press PROG to start to program play sequence.

    Listen to radio Switch the FM/MW selector to FM or MW. Turn TUNING+/- until you find optimal reception. • To improve FM reception, you can extend, incline or turn the telescopic antenna for best reception. • To improve MW reception, turn the apparatus to face a different direction.
