STANDBY indicator (30) This indicator lights up when the AV receiver is in Standby mode, and it flashes while a signal is being received from the remote controller.

    Connecting Your Speakers Enjoying Home Theater You can use two sets of speakers with the AV receiver: speaker set A and speaker set B. Speaker set A should be installed in your main listening room and can be used with Dolby Digital and DTS surround material.

    Common Functions—Continued Using the Sleep Timer With the sleep timer, you can set the AV receiver so that it automatically turns off after a set period.
