    VERTICAL THROUGH EXISTING CHIMNEY INSTALLATION This appliance is designed to be attached to a 3" co-linear fl exible vent system running the full length of a masonry chimney. The fl exible vent pipe accommodates any contours of a masonry chimney, however, it is necessary to keep the fl exible vent pipe as straight as possible.

  • Page 16 WALL AND CEILING PROTECTION For optimum performance, it is recommended that horizontal runs have a minimum 1" rise per foot when using Simpson Dura-Vent, Selkirk Direct Temp, American Metal Amerivent, or Wolf Steel rigid or fl exible vent components. For safe and proper operation of the stove, follow the venting instructions exactly.
