Installing a External Antenna

NOTE Motorola recommends using the Centurion™ antenna, model number: WTS2450-RPSMA. See
page 1-6
An external antenna can be used when placement of the vehicle computer prohibits reception; i.e., inside a vehicle
cab.
To install an external antenna:
Lift the antenna connector cap on top of the vehicle computer.
1.
Screw the cable connector onto the antenna connector.
2.
Torque to 5 ± 0.5 kgf/cm (4.3 ± 0.4 in-lbs).

Screw the antenna to the antenna base.
