Set and hear
Remote Access Code.
Use with other buttons to change settings.
Set and hear time/day.
Record and hear outgoing announcement.
Repeat all or part of a message.
Stop message playback.

Setting the Clock

You'll need to set the clock so that it can record the day and time
that each message is received.
Press and release g. The Message Window

displays CH.
Press and release C. The current day setting is

announced.
To change the day setting, hold down / or

? until the correct day is announced. Then
release the button.
Press and release C. The current hour setting is

announced.
To change the hour setting, hold down / or
5
? until the correct hour is announced. Then
release the button.
Press and release C. The current minutes setting is

announced.
To change the minutes setting, hold down / or
7
? until the correct minutes setting is
announced. Then release the button.
Press and release C. The new day and time are

announced.
To check the clock, press and release C.

Recording Your Announcement

Before using this answering system, you should record the an-
nouncement (up to 3 minutes long) that callers will hear when the
system answers a call. If you choose not to record an announce-
ment, the system answers with a prerecorded announcement:
"Hello. Please leave a message after the tone."
Press and release g. The Message Window

displays CH.
Press and release A. The system beeps. Speak

toward the microphone normally, from about 9 inches
away. While you are recording, the Message Window
displays the elapsed time of your recording.
Press S when you are finished. The system

automatically plays back your announcement.
To review your announcement, press and release A.
Turning the System On/Off
Use O to turn the system on and off. When the system is off,
the Message Window is blank.

Volume Control

Use V to adjust the volume of the system's speaker. Press the top
arrow to increase volume. Press the bottom arrow to decrease volume.
Select number of times line
rings before system answers
(RING SELECT on back).
Displays number of messages
and other indicators.
Turn system on or off.
Play messages.
Delete all or selected messages.
Skip all or part of a message.
Adjust listening volume
during message playback.
