  • Page 2 INSTALLATION Programs a number Accesses numbers stored in memory Receiver Volume (on left side of base) Handset This telephone has a selectable push-button dial and will work with either tone or rotary telephone service. It can be set to work directly with long-distance or certain other services that require tone signaling including some tone activated computer systems.
  • Page 3 INSTALLATION TABLE/DESK INSTALLATION This telephone includes a 7-foot line cord with a modular plug on each end. You’ll use this cord to connect the telephone to a modular jack. 1. Connect line cord to telephone Plug the long line cord into the jack on the underside of the telephone base.

    INSTALLATION WALL INSTALLATION 1. Reverse the handset tab. When mounting the telephone on a wall, you must reverse the handset tab. This tab holds the handset when you hang up. Hold down the switchhook, and slide the tab up and out of its slot (Figure 1). Turn the tab so that the end with the “hook”...

Make sure you choose the correct dialing method (TONE/PULSE); touch tone dialing will not work if you have dial pulse service. 6. Connect handset to telephone base Connect one end of the coiled handset cord to the base.

    The telephone always stores in memory the last number dialed. To dial the same number again, lift the handset, and press REDIAL The redial memory can accept numbers up to 32 digits long. The number will remain in memory until you change it by dialing another telephone number.
  • Page 7 Numbers will remain stored in memory unless you erase or change them by entering other numbers. Capacity: This telephone can store up to nine different phone numbers, each up to 18 digits long. Speed Dialing: Nine telephone numbers can be stored in standard speed-dialing locations.

    IN CASE OF DIFFICULTY If you have difficulty operating this phone, try the suggestions below. No Dial Tone Make sure all plugs are connected properly. Inspect the line cord connections at the modular jack and at the telephone. Also inspect the coiled handset cord connections at both ends.
