    Installing the CPU To install a CPU: Locate the CPU socket on the motherboard. Make sure that the socket lever is lifted up to a 90º angle; otherwise, the CPU will not fit in completely.

    2.3.2 Installing the heatsink and fan The AMD Athlon™ 64/AMD Athlon™ 64 FX/AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 and AMD Sempron™ processors require a specially designed heatsink and fan assembly to ensure optimum thermal condition and performance. Make sure that you use only AMD-certified heatsink and fan assembly. To install the CPU heatsink and fan: Place the heatsink on top of the installed CPU, making sure that the heatsink fits properly on the retention module base.

To install the graphics cards: Prepare two graphics cards. Each graphics card should have goldfingers for the SLI connector.
